Visuals. Gary tends to stand out in a crowd. You'll often find him wearing a brightly colored hoody, typically green, no matter the weather, with a colorful striped shirt just underneath. More commonly, on his left wrist will be a medium sized cotton band, blue or striped, which he'll pluck and tug at to maintain focus or ground himself in stressful situations. Its also just a very soft, gentle texture for his fingertips after poking and pulling data from signal streams.

Those observant enough might notice a scar on the back of Gary's neck. Depending on the person, he might actually tell them what happened.

Personality

An Egotistical Peacock. Gary knows what he does is amazing. He has not a humble bone in his body over it, and will gladly take any opportunity to show-off. He has absolutely zero qualms about reading people's private texts or asking deeply personal questions without tact. That said, he has a strong moral code when it comes to causing undue harm in pursuit of his goals. Taking an unwelcome electronic tour through someone's home via their cameras is completely acceptable; what's there to be upset about? No one actually got hurt, after all. More than anything, he likes a good mystery, and even better if he can be integral in getting to the bottom of the problem.

Candid & Sarcastic. He is incapable of telling lies, though not for a lack of trying. He's attempted to 'train' himself at this skill, but he lacks a suitable poker face. There's no filter between his mind and mouth; he's very upfront with what he feels to the point some may find him rude. While he can be those things intentionally (and quite the brat when he chooses to be), there are times when he doesn't realize how he's coming across, or has to self-correct. (Example, when examining a body: "That's cool. It's poison spit. It's like a cobra. I like that. He didn't like that, though, because it melted his skin. I - I'm being inappropriate.")

Independent, Yet Innocent. He has led a sheltered life with an over-protective mother due to his diagnosis of high-functioning autism. Soon after meeting Anna, another Alpha on the spectrum, he strives to start making his own decisions, from something minor like getting his own nightly cup of water (at his precise requirements of temperature), to moving out of his home and living at the work office. Though he says he desires to live entirely on his own, in reality he's rather naïve to the ways of the world, and relies heavily on his friends for guidance & support.

A Guarded Empathy. It is often difficult for Gary to make emotional connections with people, and properly socialize. So those few within his circle, he is fiercely protective over & guards over however he can. Whether its helping them catch the bad guys or something as minor as warning them about speeding laws, he wants only the best for them. When his mom had a stroke and needed home care, for example, he readily told her that it was his turn to care for her, and he'd give up living elsewhere, oh and he's thankful she didn't die. To an outsider looking in, he might appear callous, or even unaffected by tragedy. It's the opposite that's true: he oftentimes cares too deeply, or has so many emotions bottled up that he has difficulty expressing them.

Powers

⯌ Manipulate electromagnetic wavelengths. These signals appear as streams of lights and colors in a grid pattern all around him.

⯌ Track people by their digital devices, hack cellphone signals, connect to restricted computer systems, tv broadcasts, WiFi frequencies etc. using only his mind.

⯌ Control a drone. This bug drone is controlled via his signals and gives him a bug's eye view from the sky. It has limited range and battery life before both Gary and drone need to 'recharge'.
